All commercial drone pilots receive a Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) with a Small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS) rating from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) after passing the Unmanned Aircraft General- Small (UAG) aeronautical knowledge exam.
To enjoy all the benefits of a 'PRO' level membership, you must possess a valid RPC and apply for verification by Drone PRO Zone.
Each application must include the following, clearly visible, documents:
- Copy of your current Driver's License (or government issued, photo ID with your address)
- Copy of the front and back of your Remote Pilot Certificate with sUAS rating
The criteria for approval is simple:
- Permanent details in each document must match; and
- Details associated with the RPC number in the FAA's Airmen Database must match the documents.
DO NOT APPLY
Unless you possess a valid RPC with a sUAS rating, issued in your name by the FAA, Do Not Apply.
The application fee is non-refundable.
If, for any reason, your application is rejected, you may amend and submit additional documents for consideration with four (4) months from your application date.
