The Reely Rocket Drone is a very unusual remote controlled aircraft. The drone has a tall rectangular shape and somewhat resembles a rocket. Among other things, it can be controlled via a smartphone and an application installed on it. Takeoff and landing are done at the touch of a button and it automatically maintains its altitude.
It also folds and measures 92x92x180mm when folded. It weighs 170 grams and has the following unfolded dimensions: width: 300 mm, height: 180 mm, length: 300 mm.
Therefore, it is also suitable for beginners. In the following lines, we will introduce you to the most important technical features.

What we love about the Reely Rocket Quadcopter is the ability to stream video over Wi-Fi that is streamed directly to your smartphone. Thus, you can monitor live video and fly the drone in FPV mode. End devices with Android 4.0 / iOS 7.1 operating system are supported.
Unfortunately, the app doesn’t work very well and often crashes, so I basically just flew around with the remote without using the app.
Files (photos and videos) can be saved to an SD card if desired. Here you can use Micro SD cards up to 64 GB. Unfortunately, 128 GB memory cards are not supported.
The video resolution is 0.9 million pixels and the video resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels. At this resolution, the maximum speed of 25 frames per second is possible, at which the camera can record video.
The function of controlling the HD camera via smartphone, i.e. the panning capability, is really cool. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a true gimbal system, so videos aren’t fully shake-proof.
The disadvantage is the short flight time compared to the charging time. Charging takes 120 minutes, and you can fly the drone for only 5 minutes. However, multiple batteries can be used. They can be bought inexpensively. Typically, 1S LiPo is sold with a 900mAh battery.
The 2.4GHz remote control has a maximum range of 50 to 70 meters, and Wi-Fi up to 30 meters.
Here are some examples of drone camera photos:
The colors are a little milky, but don’t expect too much from a drone at this price point. Either way, the Reely Rocket withstands almost every collision, both with garage doors and trees and plants, as you saw in the video.
Who is the Reely Rocket Drone suitable for?
With its extensive features like Altitude Mode and Headless Mode, the Reely Rocket Drone is perfect for beginners.
Altitude mode means the drone maintains altitude fully automatically and the drone pilot does not need to consciously control the hover. This, of course, ensures that the pilot has more freedom and can focus on creating videos and images.
Headless mode means the quadcopter can be controlled regardless of the position of the drone’s head. Therefore, if you move the control stick forward, it doesn’t matter if the aircraft is heading towards you in the air or sideways, it will fly away from you.
scope of delivery
The RtF drone is delivered ready to fly. This means that you no longer need to assemble the drone, it comes ready-made.

Reely Rocket Conclusion on Rookie Helicopter
Those who appreciate high quality photos and videos might want to look for another quadcopter. In our opinion, this model is definitely not suitable for experienced pilots and professionals!
Good value for money, the Reely Rocket is good for beginners.
It is a kind of foldable mini drone with all the features a quadcopter has to offer in this field. However, we recommend that you buy multiple rechargeable batteries for the Reely Rocket to be able to expand your flying pleasure as you see fit, as the flight time is only about 5 minutes per battery charge.

Reely is well known in the modeling sector. However, DJI or Parrot drones are more specialized in quadcopters, so below we have presented several alternatives.
Rocket drone Reely compared to other drones
Many of you will not be able to deal with the disadvantages that the Reely Rocket drone carries, so we have summarized for you some alternative drones that only cost a little more. Except for Spark, which requires a multiple budget, but is still inexpensive.
Rise Tech Tello
You can’t go wrong with Ryze Tech Tello. If you are on a very tight budget but still want to try a DJI drone, we recommend this mini quadcopter.
It costs only 20-30 euros more than the Reely Rocket, but it has significantly better technical characteristics. Including a range of up to 100 meters, many different tricks, flight modes, software gimbal and a high-quality camera with good image quality. Whereas the Reely Rocket only has a Wi-Fi range of 30 meters or a range of 50-70 meters for the remote control and generates significantly worse images and videos.
Although this is a mini drone, it is still worth buying because Ryze Tech Tello is full of high tech. You can’t go wrong with buying a DJI drone!
Hubsan X4 H501S FPV Brushless Drone
The Hubsan X4 H501S FPV Brushless Drone is a slightly larger quadcopter, priced at just under € 200, that has many features that are almost exclusively found in models in much higher price regions. These include GPS, 4 brushless motors, Full HD camera, Altitude Mode, Headless Mode, Follow Me Mode, Home Mode, and a cool LED backlit design.
In our test, this drone performed very well in terms of value for money, and the Hubsan is a popular model among beginners to make entry into the flight as cheap as possible.
You should plan a little more budget for the DJI Spark, but it passed our tests with a near full estimate.
It is a high-tech mini drone with 4K camera and gesture control. The sensors are very sophisticated, and although the small quadcopter weighs only 300g, it is very quiet in the air.
Compared to the Reely Rocket, it has a much quieter flight, much more flight modes, and is much easier to control for beginners. In addition, a visual positioning and obstacle sensing system is installed, which ensures that Spark intelligently flies around obstacles without the intervention of the drone pilot.
For newbies, this feature is a clear advantage, allowing them to gain experience without falling. In addition, the battery lasts significantly longer, and Spark can reach speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour.
